Project Name: Stash
Type: Beta
Current State: In Testing

Beta Testers!

What happens 100,000 times a day on dA, but hasn't changed much in the last 10 years?

Submitting art!

So, here's something a little new.

Your Stash on deviantART is a home for all your images, writing, flash, everything! Here's how it works...

:bulletblue: You can drag & drop as many files as you like into your Stash (up to 2GB), really quickly.

:bulletblue: Those submissions will not appear in your gallery, or to your Watchers, until you say so.

:bulletblue: You can send around the link to anything in your Stash, perhaps to gather more-private Critiques before sending the piece to your Gallery, or whatever you like!

:bulletblue: Later on (or right away..), pick a Stashed item and hit Publish to send it to your Gallery, Watchers, groups, etc. as usual!

<img  class="screenshot2" src="…">
You'll find the Stash on the 'Submit' menu at the top of the site.

The old Submit page will still work while Stash is in beta testing, but that will be getting some major updates soon too.

Our hope is that this will lead to a much easier way to submit without flooding deviantART with things that aren’t deliberately published one by one.

We hope you like it!

Cool! What else?

As well as just being able to publish to your Gallery, we'll be adding the ability to create Projects using Stash items, such as Photoblog Projects, and the ability to create a Portfolio right from your Stash!

There's also a WYSIWYG Writer, Mac, iPhoto, and Android uploader plugins, and more uploader apps on the way.

Let’s Test It

Thanks as alway for helping us test out our new features before everybody else gets to use them. ;)

To help out, use the report bug page, and select Stash as the project.

There are more Stash features on the way, so keep an eye out!

Also, hope you like it!

p.s. Kudos to the makers! kouiskas, randomduck, KnightAR, adkbamf, micahgoulart, aMoniker

Is there a way to make your entire visible to people?

No, but you can link people to an entire stack. :)

...but how do you make your private? I have people commenting and viewing my photos I uploaded there when I haven't given any URL/link or anything out to anybody...everyone says that is private but so far I am finding that to be false information.

Hiya! Sorry to hear that  Your is indeed private by default, until there's a link somewhere. Feel free to send me a note with a few items that this happened to and I'll have a look.

I figured it out! Haha, it was just my inability to understand technological devices and programs that confused me xD I was seeing it wrong.

Everytime I try to get into my st.ash account, it redirects me! I cannot enter it... Please fix it, because some people are awaiting their requested pictures in it's original quality!

You can report bugs to the Help Desk. :D

If you're not sure how to do so, see [link] :)
